A company in Cyprus is a legal entity that is established in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Law (Chapter 113) in order to carry out any legal activity and can take five forms:

  • Private company limited by shares
  • Public company limited by shares
  • Company limited by guarantee without shares
  • Company limited by guarantee and shares
  • Variable capital investment company

To register companies in Cyprus you will need the following:

  • Company Name
  • Address of registered office
  • Company officers (directors and secretary)
  • Shareholders and share capital
  • Company activities
  • Articles of Association and Articles of Incorporation

The lawyer submits the company for registration to the competent authority which is the Registrar of Companies. The registrar will confirm that all documents submitted are in accordance with laws and regulations.
